Dealer Specialties Names Al Hess General Manager of Sales and Operations

Hess will directly manage the company-owned sales and service operations, and oversee franchise development.

Hess is the former vice-president of circulation for Auto Trader Publishing and vice-president group manager for Trader Publications. He joined Auto Trader Publishing in 1986 as the company's circulation manager for the Philadelphia market. Hess was later promoted to general manager for the Philadelphia area, a position he held for 10 years. He then moved on to district, regional and group level management responsibilities within Trader Publications.
