The event, which is the centerpiece of the annual Life is good® festival in Boston, is sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. The competition features men and women from around the country putting their athletic skills to the test through a variety of old-fashioned backyard games, including frisbee toss, bocce, watermelon seed spitting, and a wiffle ball home run derby. All competing athletes commit to raise at least $1,000 for the Life is good Kids Foundation. This year's competition raised $630,634.00.
